Joachim Morre (1993) is an autodidact director and one of the founders of isaac. Joachims work focuses on the lives of real people and is often inspired by personal experience and/or based on thorough research.

He aims for authenticity and intimacy and as the son of a priest and a psychologist his storytelling naturally revolves around the human condition and identity.

His personal work has screened at prestigious festivals such as Warsaw, CPH:DOX, Helsinki, Regard and Leuven and his latest short was shortlisted for a Danish Academy Award (Robert).

His commercial work has earned 3 shortlists at the Young Director Award in Cannes and won prizes at True Awards and Creative Circle while also gaining Vimeo Staff Pick.

His work represents a fusion of the cinematic and the real mixing first time actors with experienced ones and is often shot in milieus and locations that he knows intimately from his own life.
